Rare and culturally important plants, made reachable and lawful.
Pono Plant is an early Hawaii-based effort with one aim: access to important plants. The plan is to teach how to grow and propagate them, and to build a lawful path to nursery-propagated stock. The project is parked: no work on it since September 2026. The bench was not finished, and there is no stock to hand out. For now, access is a conversation.

What access means
Teach the growing, and open a lawful path to stock.
Access is not a checkout button yet. It is knowledge you can use now, and a supply line we are still building honestly. We propagate, we never wild-collect, and we label honestly down to the subspecies. Where getting a plant to root is still our own bet, we call it a hypothesis and show our work.
A-01
Learn to grow it
How to grow and propagate each documented plant, written from what we can actually verify. An honest blank beats a confident wrong reading.
A-02
A lawful path to stock
Nursery-propagated stock, inspected and shipped inside the law. There is nothing to send today. Tell us which plant matters and we will tell you whether and when it is reachable.
